Kabbalah Astrology:

Through this ancient science we can understand the ebb and flow of our lives. This information is a map to help you understand the timing of the Universe so you can take the right action at the right time. Personal chart includes your weekly & yearly cycles. This information can transform your life and bring greater happiness and success to endeavors and relationships. No birth time required. Private or groups.

Harmonyum: Beyond healing

Harmonyum, born out of the Kabbalah, is a hands-on healing system. It balances and heals mind, body and spirit. By working along the spine, it transmits positive nerve impulses to our physical body through the sympathetic nervous system. A Harmonyum treatment gently eliminates destructive energies such as anger, fear, stress and anxiety and replaces them with feelings of peace and serenity to assist you in your healing process. The deep state of relaxation reached during a treatment has a lasting effect and will leave you feeling relaxed and renewed.

Occupational Therapy:
Therapeutic Supportive Healing LLC

The philosophical base of Occupational Therapy and the tools used to help clients improve quality of life:

Occupational Therapy was born during the First World War when veterans returned home with a sense of loss of independence in self care, ability to work for a living and in leisure pursuits due to physical and psycho social health challenges. The women in the early 1900's “took principles and practices from nursing, teaching, medicine, psychiatry, arts and crafts, rehabilitations, self-help, orthopedics, mental hygiene, social work, and more” to assist individuals in regaining functional independence in activities of daily living. It is this holistic approach to health and wellness ebbed and flowed with the changes of the twentieth century that drew Christine to the profession in Occupational Therapy. She has extensive experience working here in the Rogue Valley in hand therapy, acute care hospital settings, outpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. Services provided by Christine include: postural assessment and core stability retraining; manual therapeutic intervention to decrease pain; low vision & neurologic vision therapy; and therapeutic activities, exercises & use of adaptive equipment, as needed, to increase functional use of upper extremities. The goal is to help individuals decrease pain and regain independence in leisure/sport, work, and activities of daily living.

About Christine Everaert, MS, OTR/L
541-621-8574

I moved to Southern Oregon in 2002 with a Master of Science degree in hand, enthusiastic to embrace what the year had in store for me. I had not yet seen the area and moved here following my intuition. Prior to living in Jackson County, I lived in large metropolitan cities where the lifestyle is Go.Go...Go... For example, I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois and frequented Chicago. Yet, I always knew I would flourish in a more rural area. My candle was burning out from both ends and this area provided me the opportunity to learn stillness and truly enjoy nature’s beauty while participating in hiking, biking and kayak activities, meet friends and enjoy plays and performances at the local venues. As I found balance between work, leisure, exercise and play, I began taking classes at Joyfull Yoga.

I was filled with happiness and joy each time I walked into the space Louise provided. I appreciated the integration of physical movement with breath connecting heart and mind and enjoyed the blissful spiritual state that is indescribable. This holistic philosophy is what I have focused on during my practice in Occupational Therapy. I integrate the physical response, usually pain/injury, the body is expressing with the person’s life, with what is happening with their mind, heart and spirit. I find this integration needs to be through assessment of movement and strength, and deficits therein. In treatment, I utilize pain management techniques through improvements in postural and spatial awareness, therapeutic exercise/movement, manual therapy, with emphasis on patient follow thru with assigned home programs. I have experience working with neurological, orthopedic and cardiopulmonary injuries as they relate to physical dysfunction in addition to pain specific diagnoses such as fibromyalgia, etc... I have worked in hand therapy and enjoy vision re-training as well. So, if you have pain and/or are unable to participate in activities of self care, leisure or sport see your physician and ask for a prescription for Occupational Therapy and come in for treatment.

I am excited to build my business, Therapeutic Supportive Healing LLC, within the progressive confines of Joyfull Yoga.
