Mari has been teaching Yoga/Meditation since 1978 & holds certificate in the lineage of Sivananda& Indri Devi. She studied the Vipassana meditation with Shinzen Young & Matta with Sylvia Boorstein.

She teaches yoga with an emphasis on mindfulness, equanimity, & compassion. Each student is encouraged to work at his or her own pace & receives lots of personal attention. She interprets posture as a window to the soul, with asana serving to frame our awareness & reveal our resistance.

The yoga student experiences all phenomena as impermanent & vibratory, & begins to allow the blockages to happiness-physical, mental, & spiritual-to spontaneously dissolve in the natural way of Mother Nature.

Her classes include a basic complement of asanas, pranayama, relaxation, meditation, & song. Mari is also a cartoonist, illustrator, author, & poet
